MOUNT KILIMANJARO

Mount Kilimanjaro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania, is the world’s highest free-standing mountain. It features two dormant volcanic peaks: Kibo (5,895m) and Mawenzi (5,149m). Climbing Kilimanjaro is challenging but highly rewarding, offering breathtaking summit views and an unmatched sense of accomplishment. Trekkers can choose from seven routes, with Machame and Marangu being the most popular. While Kilimanjaro can be climbed year-round, October is the best month for summiting

Usambara Mountains

With its untouched rainforests, breathtaking landscapes, rare wildlife, and rich cultural heritage, the Usambara Mountains promise an experience unlike any other. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker, a wildlife enthusiast, or a traveler seeking authentic cultural encounters, Usambara is a destination that should be on your bucket list. The Usambara Mountains are a hidden paradise in northeastern Tanzania located near Mkomazi National Park.

OL DOINYO LENGAI MOUNTAIN

Ol Doinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God,” is a sacred Maasai volcano standing at 2,962 meters in northern Tanzania. It is the world’s only active carbonatite volcano, with recorded eruptions since 1883, occasionally sending ash over 100 km away. Located near Lake Natron, it offers breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro, and the Rift Valley. Since the past ancestors the Holly Lengai has been used by Maasai for their prayer to their GOD known as NGAI. The climb is challenging due to steep slopes, heat, and altitude, but rewarding with sunrise summits and crater walks.

MOUNT MERU

Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest and Africa’s fifth-highest mountain, sits in Arusha National Park, offering breathtaking views of Arusha city and diverse wildlife. Its iconic horseshoe crater, formed by a volcanic blast, adds to its allure. Hikers may see Antelopes, Buffaloes, Colobus Monkeys, and Giraffes, making an armed ranger essential. Mount Meru is a perfect acclimatization climb for Kilimanjaro, combining adventure, wildlife, and stunning landscapes, making it an unforgettable trekking experience in Tanzania.
